I ordered from Halo wigs, 2 wigs, 2 wig holders a brush & 2 wig caps. Total of my order was 153.00. But I was charged twice for the same order Id (WIG1700019946). It had 2 receipt numbers through paypal. On the first they said the payment didn't go through & that I need to resubmit. When I resubmitted it, the receipt payment had a different receipt number than the first. I bell went off, I got charged 2 times. I got into a chat with them about the 2 different receipt numbers and asked if I was charged twice.
Chat person said her name was Melody. She said "we have found that before. And my colleague has dealt with that. Our finance department will refund you in 24 hrs" "please no worries" I became to notice grammar & spelling was off & I remember hearing that was a red flag for scammers. I told her to plaease cancel my order & that I will be contacting the credit card holder to stop payment. Then she wanted to know - quot;could you telll me why you want to cancel your order" "we will make it and ship it to you as soon as possible". I told Her I don't feel comfortable with the transaction. Thanks for your help good-by. Then she said "dear customer, we will refund your redundant payment in 24 hours, please trust us Ok?" " Could you please kindly click "close" button after you finish the chant & give an evaluation of my service. Your evaluation of my service is really important to me. I closed & immediately call my credit card company. They said I had to wait until it was posted to account in 3-5 business days. I didn't want to wait until then. I have all emails & a copy of live chat. I also have the two receipt Numbers I was given if needed. Thanks for any help.
