First I want to start off by saying Tory at this store is a peach! Last Saturday evening I spoke with Tory at this store and explained to her I was trying to replace a dress that my daughter had just bought there a couple weeks ago for her daddy's funeral. She wanted to wear this dress for her senior pictures and I had mistakenly washed the dress and ruined it. Tory was kind enough to put a dress back that she thought would be similar but they no longer had that dress and you could no longer order it on line. So today I went in to see the dress. I did not like it so I started looking thru these little black dresses that were on a 50% off rack. I found the same dress I was looking for it was the only one left but in a smaller size. I decided to go ahead and buy the dress since it was 50% off and my daughter might be able to fit in it. When the cashier rang it up it did not ring up the 50% off. So she called the manager over and the manager said she couldn't do anything about it because it didn't have the red hand written mark down on it and she wasn't going to lose her job over this. I told her it obviously it was on the clearance rack marked 50 % off as well as it is obviously a clearance item since you can no longer order it on line. It just missed being marked, as well as when I was a cashier if the rack was marked 50% off the manager had to give you the 50% off! What has happened to our customer service in this country. I went ahead and purchased the dress since it was so important to my daughter hoping it will fit her but I don't think we will be purchasing her prom dress there this year. It's a shame because I have 3 teenage daughters that do a lot of shopping at Deb's but a rude manager has changed our minds about ever shopping there again! All over $16.00!
