Telemarketing scam selling internet advertising.
Typical work at home scam victimizing the elderly and uneducated poor. High pressure telephone solicitation, sign up less then $300, then sets the hook with a payment of $500. High pressure sales calls with promises of thousands of dollars in earnings with signing up for special prefered lists of client's. Promises to do all the work even if the victim doesn't own a computer. Victim is an 82 yr. Old widow. Can't loose representations. Once initial credit card info obtained, WM forges signatures on invoices to obtain payment through Global Payment who then bills credit card. Impossible to trace individuals behind the shell LLC. No cooperation with Global Payment or Discover Card to trace the money. Arizona is the black hole of internet scams. Beware of any telemarketer selling internet advertising operating out of Arizona!!! Or elsewhere for that matter.
