I received a phone call from a guy named Sean, he said he was from Casablanca Express for the riviera Hotel in Las Vegas. He said they were inviting me to visit the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas for 3 nights. The cost was $199. But at check-in, I would receive a $100 Discover Gift card. He said that it was completely refundable and that there were no blackout days. I was suspicious and he even had me call the Riviera Hotel front desk to confirm that Casablanca Express was with the hotel. I called the Riviera Hotel from another phone and they confirmed that they were located in the hotel and that they were legitmate.
After got the confirmation letter, I did not see the fine print on the back of the letter that Fridays and Saturdays were EXCLUDED and it was only valid Sun - Tues. Also, Cancellations were only allowed 7 days from the the date of the confirmation. Also, the rule was that the trip had be booked 60 days in advance!
"Ken" the supervisor in Customer Service told me that it was too bad because the policy was clear on the back of the letter and I was outside the 7 day cancellation period. Too bad and have a nice day.
I cannot get my money back. This is a rip-off and a scam. STAY AWAY FROM CASABLANCA EXPRESS and the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas.
