I registered for its 1 mo. Special offer for 13.95$ on Dec. 5/12.
. I cancelled my registration on Jan./13, a few days early before the
expiry of my one mo. Subscription.
. I received a reply to my cancellation stating "sorry to see go..."
. I had the impression that this was sufficient enough to cancel my
subscription since I registered on line and cancellation was acknowledged on line.
. Since my cancellation I never accessed/opened the website and as a matter of fact they stopped all referrals, communications to me.
. To my surprised they kept on charging my master card for 19.95$
even up to the time I was complaining to agnes and helen by telephone and emails.
. They asked me if I sent them fax to cancel my subscription bec. According to them it is this FAX that cancels subscription, otherwise
the recurring billings is not cancelled.
. This system has been PROHIBITED BY LAW in Canada long long time ago since this clearly money grab by scrupulous businesses.
It is required that consumers must be notified and should agree on
monthly billing, NOT AUTOMATICALLY regardless. Also,
IN my case recurring billing is not applicable since I SIGNED FOR
1 MO. ONLY and I CANCELLED BEFORE EXPIRY, THEREFORE
RECURRING BILLING IS NOT NOT APPLICABLE IN MY CASE.
Inspite of the fact that I was contesting their charges and Agnes
told me that she cancelled my a/c on the very time I called her,
still my card was charged for the 3rd time on Mar. 7/13. IT IS A CLASSIC CASE OF HIGHWAY ROBBERY.
This kind of buss. Practice s/b be stopped and i am
demanding a refund of 19.95$ 3x.
