On 1/19 we ordered a 1000 Words Book from Salesperson Jessica, who is identified as Distributor # 021. We were assured the book would arrive within 4-6 weeks for our young daughter. She claimed that she was working as an intern for a company that was involved with the government - that they were trying to booster the county's poor reading levels by providing parents of young children with books etc. My husband was trying to do something nice for our daughter - and "Jessica" if that was even her real name, requested CASH ONLY. She even asked my husband to go the ATM when he said he had no money on him - and even offered him a ride.
So far, we haven't seen any such book and contacted the "company" today. We'll see where any of it goes, but we're sure regardless that we aren't seeing the book or our money.
