I placed an order from Nick Jr. Magazine for one of those books where you send in a picture of your child and they put the picture in a personalized book. On the order form it was for either a Blue's Clues or a Dora the Explorer book, and it said it was a hardcover book. The price was $24.99 plus shipping for a total of $29.90. A little high but I went ahead because I figured my daughter would like it and it would be a keepsake.
Well, I ordered the Blue's Clues Book, which I was going to give to my daughter for Christmas. I recieved the 'book' - actually it was more like a magazine - and on top of that disappointment they sent me the wrong book (I recieved a Dora book but I ordered a Blue's Clues Book). I was very upset, so I called the person in charge, Eric, (I don't know his last name) and he said that, first the books don't come in hardcover, and second that I did order the Dora Book and I would not be able to recieve my money back.
I have disputed the amount with my credit card company but I won't know if I will get a refund until they research the dispute. I am also writing a letter to Nick Jr. Magazine. Hopefully I will get my money back. I would not order these books. It is a ripoff.
