Green Dot paid $321.00 to a known scammer. I filed a complaint and was told that I would have to deal with the merchant. I keep trying to tell them this isn't a merchant but a scammer. They disagree since the person answered a phone number. I have reported the scammer to Homeland security and I'm in the process of filing a civil lawsuit against Green Dot. They also gave my personal phone number to the scammer without my approval on a recorded line. I told them to pay my $321 or I would sue them. My lawyer will deal with now and he will get much more then $321.
