I have an account with Greendot. I live in NY state. All of my info is on my Greendot account. Someone was able to their site to open 2 accounts under my name. Not only did they open the accounts but Greendot shipped the the cards to a North Carolina address with my tax refund on it. I called and reported it and was told that the issue would be investigated. I called everyday for a week getting the same answers. I was told on Feb 23 that Greendot tried to call me and could not reach me so they closed the case. They were calling a number in North Carolina and i live in NY. They called and gave this person info about my case and allowed them to call in and get info too without validating my accounts after i reported this incident!
