Long story - went to walgreens to purchase a Green Dot visa card - so I could purchase stuff online. Three days later - went to walgreens to use the Green Dot card (put in 50.00) it wouldn't accept on purchase. Later got a letter from Social Security saying that they're going to deposit my disability checks into GreenDot Visa every month. I used my ATM (from bank) to purchase the GreenDot visa - bank gave them my deposit information and GreenDot is getting my checks, and charging me $5.00 a month for the service!!!
Now GreenDot has all my money! And i never signed an application! That's what you get for buying a Gift card w/your ATM checking account. Of course, Walgreens and the Bank tried to call the 800 number given on the card - but you only got 4 options, none of which allowed you to speak to a real person!
