I recieved a letter and check claiming to be partial pymt for my settlement of $80000.00. I called the bank (jp morgan chase) who after transferring me multiple times refused to verify the check even though i explained in detail what it was about. They refused to assist me. I want to find out what i can do about this; legally. I also feel that these illegal activities should be investagated. Jp morgan's lack of assistance tells me perhaps they are in on this scam... And we all know it would not be the first time innocent people were scammed by them. I want the money promised.
