I went online to sidesocket.com I saw this advertised on televison and I wanted to purchase this item: because they came with surge protection built in, so I went to the site; there is a video which I watched and then started to process my order for 2 side sockets; looking at the picture of the side sockets; was different from the video, but I was assuming I was getting 2 side sockets with the surge protection, but that wasn't so as I submitted my order it took me to another page where I could pay more money for 2 side sockets with the surge protection: but I was upset already because; I assummed I was getting the 2 outlets with the surge protection and that was false; if I wanted the surge protectors; I would have to pay more money; and then there was another page where you could increase your order I believe it was add 4 protectors for even more money; I found the phone number and called this company and they said "your order hasn't come through; I ordered this item on the 1st of March; they told me to call back on Monday because we are closed on the weekend and you can cancel your order on Monday; I called; I spoke with a lady she said "oh your order has already been processed and I told her the whole story that they said "they could cancel it on Monday; I called five minutes after 8:00 when they opened: so then she tells me you can ship it back to us; you will have to pay the postage to return it: I was like this is crazy; so then I hung up and decided to call again; I got a different lady; and she said "oh no problem I will cancel the order and you will be refunded" well that never happend; they sent me a confirmation that the order went through and is being delivered by fedex. So now I am going to receive the product in which I thought was a wall surge protector; and if I decide to return it it's going to cost me more money: I am just so frustrated; because I feel I was lyed to by this company and I had assumed I was getting the 2 outlets with the surge protector, but as I mentioned I submitted the order and it took me to another page where I could purchase the surge protector for more money and there was a third page where you could by more outlets with the surge protector: I feel I was ripped off and I told the lady that who said "You will be fully refund" its nothing but a scam; and I was the victime of this scam. And it doesn't make me feel good about this experience: I learned a valuable lesson, don't order unless you know what your getting!
