I entered into a contract to purchase a business (a website). I was told no experience is needed. However after I purchased it and started training I realised it is just a website and lots of work needs to be done to only get it to start to earn money. Moreover training turned out to very difficult and only a professional will be able to bring this website to first 3 in google rankings so that someone will click on this website. I checked the ranking now - and it is not even in the first 100 of this type of websites. I requested to cancel the agreeement and a refund. Agreement said I have 14 days after completion to pay outstanding balance. And I can cancel after the cooling off period and just loose a deposit as I cancelled 2 days after completion. However the vendor told me to pay the outstanding balance early so that I can start training on 4th day of cooling off period as he said it may take 2 weeks to complete the website. I did that. However no training was provided on 4 th day and he said training will be provided on day of completion. Thus he took my right to have 14 days to pay outstanding balance after completion and he did not provide me training on 4th day of cooling off period. After having training for 2 days I understood this is a scam. If I had this training given to me as promised on 4th day of cooling off period I would cancel within cooling off period. If i didnt pay that outstanding balance early I d have 14 days to think before paying it. The company refuses to give a refund to me.
