I responded to the ad like you folks did and was told on the second day that there was a training fee of $399 which would be refunded at the end of the training period by the 'Host Dealership' After three days of "orientation' by Bob Stevens, we were turned over to the sales manager Ian Burlakoff to start our training. Ian immediately cancelled the training program and told us we were going onto the floor on straight commision. We (my fellow trainees) asked about a refund of our training fee since training was cancelled. Burlakoff told us that Stevens worked for a separate company and that we would have to take the matter up with him. I have a signed agreement stating that the refund would come from the host dealership. Also, the advertised $40,000 per first year " or we'll pay the difference " went out the window. I intend to look into the possibility ot taking this to small claims court unless some of you are thinking of a class action suit, which I would be interested in joining. Any thoughts?
