This company posed as a real title and escrow company with a contract, papers to back up requests, guaranteeing reimbursement for fees, etc. They were in the Chicago Yellow pages for years, the lawyer connected to this in Mexico had the same phone number for years, customer satisfaction reviews backed them up as a real company to sell timeshares—all false.

I talked with 6 people in the organization, followed their directions, believed them to be true—and fell for their very good deception.

Gene Schroeder, Dave Wilson, Mark Del Rio, Luis Sanchez were the main men involved with this scam.
