Triple play internet installation was not completed - TIME WARNER CABLE

My service was installed earlier this week. The person who installed the triple play said he did not know how to make the fax/printer work. He did not make any effort to try to figure out the problem. He did get the phone, TV, and access to the internet, but my service is not complete without the fax/printer (HP 8600 Plus). I am 72 years old and cannot move my computer desk nor climb around on the floor looking for possible solutions. So far as I am concerned installation was incomplete. Also, now i see ads on internet for "free" instalation, but no one offerred this to me.
