I paid over AUD$340. To have anti spyware, malware and virus protection placed on my PC and since the installation
my PC does not work properly. The money was debited from my credit card on Feb 5.
Yesterday, a man phoned me saying that I now have an email virus on my PC and requested a further AUD$299 to fix this problem.
I explained that I cannot afford this.
I am very unhappy with the performance and problems on my PC since Global Connect rang and offered to ‘help’ me.
It has been no help at all and I feel that I have been “scammed” by Global Connect / Cyber Astro.
I was not given an order number and I was also told to say some nice words about the people who were technicians on my PC.
I did as I was told but the problems started occurring the very next day.
I feel 'ripped off' - stolen from.
