Wells Fargo has continuously shut off my debit card when I make a purchase on ebay and pay for it on paypal. The WF bankers in person told me they see a lot of fraud with pay pal that's why the fraud department acted. WF continuously declined payment to pay pal and when I called they said it was over my daily limit. Today (Saturday, the 9th) when I attempted to make a $200 purchase via pay pal the purchase was either cancelled or denied by WF bank. When I called, the "supervisor" at the fraud department said my card was only being shut off if I went over the limit which is a complete and utter lie as it was the first time the card was used the entire day.
WF is malicious in its efforts to deny payments to pay pal. Why? Unknown? Is pay pal owned by a competitor??? Has WF had past problems with pay pal, their local bankers told me they had.
Regardless, one cannot use a WF debit or credit card to make purchases off of ebay or to pay for purchased items using pay pal. WF is illegally denying people the use of their own monies and WF employees are making conscious efforts to deny funds to customers banking at Wells Fargo Banks.
