I received a necklace from this company 2 days ago. I did not KNOW WHY I had received THIS NECKLACE, GIVEN THERE WAS NO PACKING SLIP/INVOICE, until after some researching on the web. My bank account was also charged $49.00 without my knowledge. I contacted the company at a phone # that was listed in another complaint and followed the instructions given in several of the complaints. I spoke to a rep and advised her I needed an RMA# in order to return this necklace that I did not order. She advised me I would have to email their billing dept to see if they will give me a refund and also give me an RMA#. I asked her why I received this and she told me I had ordered one of their cross necklaces back in November for a 14 day free trial and if not returned within that 14 day period, I would be charged $98.00, and any further items that they sent, on a monthly basis would be would also be handled the same way, (14 day free trial). I told her that is not what they advertised. They advertised it for $5.99 and shipping and handling costs. There was nothing at the time telling me I would be charged $98.00 if I decided to keep it. I had ordered it as a Christmas present for a fellow christian friend of mine. If they did state this, it was very misleading. Had I known it was going to cost me more money I would not have ever ordered it. This company is nothing but a scam artist. I cannot get the first necklace back and try to send it back for a refund. However given the way they advertised it, i believe i paid enough for it ($5.99 shipping and handling) plus it was not worth $98.00 a refund is in order on both items for a total of $147.00. I have reported this company to the bbb, attorney general's office and have spoken to an attorney who deals in monetary damages. He is willing to take the case on for free and feels this company's practicing procedures is very misleading. Now I am being told by the rep that in order to see if I can get my money back for the $49 necklace, I need to email their billing dept. At BillingatMiuMilano.com. I am still withing the 14 day window period so there shouldn't be a problem.in essence, this rep has contradicted herself. I have emailed the billing dept and am given them 48 hours to respond to my request for a refund. I also informed this same rep to cancel future mailings and charges to my bank account. I have also contacted my bank to refuse any debits from my account by this company. I will not stop until i get the $147.00 back and attorney fees if necessary.
