The eqyipment this company is the most unreliable, cheapest piece of junk I have ever used. Its not that I get false positives, its that it only accepts about 1 out of 5 samples. I have to wait about 5 minutes for the thing to warm up and the, without fail, I get an abort test message. Then I have to wait another 2 or 3 minutes before I can repeat the test. It usually takes about three tries before it accapts the test. And I assure you it has nothing to do with alcohol in my system.
Worse than this though is when it doesn't accept the tests while I'm driving. It usually fails at least once and before you can repeat the test, your horn starts blaring and lights start flashing. This is the third handset I have had and they all work as poorly. I can say I have another Interlock on my other car from a different company. I have never had a problem like this..
Lifesafer, you need new equipment. Yours is crap.By the way, I have never written a review about any other product. But this one is so bad, I couldn't help myself. Hopefully you won't ever have to get an IID, but if you do, don't go to Lifesafer.
