CP RR continues to ignore a very Bad situation of parking trains behind our indoor arena for long periods of time. Yesterday they parked a very short train behind our indoor arena around 10A.M. & @ that time we were working w / young children in the arena. When they stopped one of our students was thrown from the horse she was riding, luckly she landed on her feet. At that time I called CP RR MIKE Savokinas the local CP RR police officer complained, he assured me the train would be moved back behind the sign that CP RR had installed 3 years ago so that they wouldn't interfer with our riding programs.in the last 3 years since they installed their sign that they do not obey we have had to shut our operations down too many times. We now want the siding North switch moved back to where they installed their sign or take their siding out all together. We allowed theie bsiding to begin with when they nsaid it was only to be used for passenger trains going north or south to be able to have a right of way. CP RR is now using it to park trains w/their engines running & polluting the air in our barns & indoor arena Year before last they left 6 locomotives idling on the siding for 38 hrs. We had to put up with air we couldn't breath. We now demand that they move switch back to where their sign is or take the siding completely out. We will circulate a petion with our neighbors who are also complaining of the noise & pollution from this passing siding.
