I filed federal tax return and did not request Deluxe return. The representative would not refund the $29.95 to my credit card. I thought when they asked for that information that the next page would state federal taxes were free and would then reflect a zero balance owed. I am not a computer wiz, and did not know that by filling out the information I would be charged. I am a senior citizen and would not have done taxes on line if I thought I would be charged for a "free" service. I did click no thanks when asked if I wanted to upgrade. I should have been given the benefit of the doubt in this situation. H & R Block is a big corporation and should forgive an honest mistake, if indeed I made one.
