I ordered this "1600 Thread Count Platinum Collection Sheet Set" on February 28. I did not try the sheets out right away but when I did I noticed that "1600 tread count" was a gross exaggeration. After sleeping on the sheets for about 2 weeks, I noticed a lot of "pilling" on the bottom sheet. I washed the sheets and the pilling was still there. It was like sleeping on sandpaper. These sheets are MICROFIBER - THEY HAVE NO THREAD COUNT!
I contacted NoMoreRack and they denied my request for a refund because the refund period had passed and because the sheets were "used." By the way, simply washing the sheets makes them "used." Who doesn't wash sheets before they sleep on them???
A couple of months later I noticed that NMR had changed the product name to "1600 series" sheets, no longer claiming 1600 tc. I asked for a refund again based on deceptive advertising and poor quality, and was again denied.
