Exact same as above. I had enquired about Mystery Shopping and received a phone call the following day from Sarah (contact # 647-931-4853, ext 203) stating I had been accepted as a mystery shopper and would be getting $400 to start. Today I received two cheques, each for $1195 from Solvay Finance America, 459 University Ave, Suite 300, Tonto, M5G 1Y8 drawn on JP Morgan Chase Bank, 200 Bay St, Royal Bank Plaza, Suite 1800 M5J 2J2
If you receive the same I would suggest ignoring it or placing a complaint. Fortunately I checked this out on-line after I got Sarah's call. Also any cheques with the above information will be flagged by all Royal Banks.
As an fyi, I have been contacted by two companies via email through Mystery Shoppers and they seem to be legit (ie no money upfront. To good to be true. Etc, etc) I've done two assignments so far, without any out of pocket expenses, except driving a couple of miles and so far. Soo good
