I noticed on 1/2 that $34.95 had been taken out of my checking account. I applied for more than one payday loan almost 2 years ago and accepted one. Once I finally got that ONE payday loan paid off on 12/15, I began receiving phone calls saying that I had been approved for an online pay day loan. I ignored then, told then to take me off their list, and attempted to explain that I hadn't applied for the loan. A few weeks later I notice the charge on my account, by the next Monday I called and spoke with a woman with a very thick accent who told me that her company did not take the money out of my account. That I had recently agreed to this withdrawal through an online payday loan site but she could not tell me which one. She said that she could authorize the refund and that it would be 7-10 business days before it was back in my account. Now here it is 1/24, I still don't have my money, and the phone number doesn't work. My bank says my best option is to just keep an eye on my account. I'm not a happy camper right now.
