I was going to apply for a loan and asked Welcome Loans to do this for me. After a couple of days I decided not to go ahead with this so I sent them an email stating this. I was told that I had to write to cancel, which I did, this was within the 14 days which they asked. I had a direct debit going out and when this did not go out I phoned me bank who informed me that ECS (Welcome Loans) had taken £69.95 out of my account. I was furious I emailed them as the phone number which they had did not deal with what I needed to speak about. I received an email saying that they are sorry that I had not received my money but this could take up to 14 days. I have sent numerous emails with no reply and letters to the company. This company should not be allowed to take money out of people's account, they must be stopped. I am still waiting for a response from them
