I have two complaints. 1. On 20.10.2012 i bought a Food Steamer from Checkers Centre in York Street George for my friend's birthday. She was very exited when she saw it. When we opened the box there was no booklet inside as well as from the fittings was not there. Further to that we saw that the steamer has been used due to old food stuck in it. I took it back that same day. With no excuse from their side they refunded me. 2. On 22.12.2012 I bought a bread machine from Checkers in Heiderand in Mossel Bay for my mother for christmas. What a shock! When we opened the box there was no booklet and it was clear that the machine has been used due to dough on the outside and the spoon was still full of sugar. Can u imagine how embarresed it was. I had to drive back from George to Mossel Bay. They refunded me because they did not have another machine. I was necessitated to look somewhere else and after driving all over I found one at another store (Kloppers) in George. This is only two of a couple of incidents at Checkers. I buy all my groceries from Checkers but if this is the way they treat their customers I dont want to be one of them anymore. Thank YouNoleen Greyling
