My husband flew with our dog on united airlines 4038Y. The flight was delayed 9 hours. He missed his connections and had to go thru hell to get it taken care of. Is this how you treat our vetrens who serve to protect our country? He was traveling with our dachshund who got sick. The flight was delayed 9 hours. He was compensated with a toothbrush, 10% off his next flight and a free drink. You have to be kidding me. I filed for a refund. You took my money the same day I booked the flight and now you are telling me I have to wait 21 days for a refund? (excuse me but that is (Inappropriate Content Removed). I Have called United six times, left on hold for at least 1/2 hour at a time. Hung up on and no one will give me the corporate number to call. If my money is not credited by January 21st, a lawyer will get involved. You plan on spending over 550,000.00 on updates to your planes - stop and take care of the customers who use you now. They also lost his baggage and delivered it to the hotel he was staying at. Ripped up to pieces and unusable. I payed alot for the suitcases and I do not feel it is my responsibility to bring it back to the airport — you come to me. I want to be reinbursred for the suitcase and also the $25.00 that he paid to check the luggage when you are allowed one suitcase. Do REALLY think that people are that stupid? I expect a credit on my card by tommrow. If not expect a lawsuit because I am that pissed off. I expect a phone call from United at (Personal Information Removed)
