I have had the worst experience with this company. When i originally acquired this card i thought it was going to be a great idea considering i don't do well with banks. So when i saw this i thought it was going to be a great alternative to the normal bank. I was wrong.
I never had a problem with this card until i tried to transfer money into it from a different card. Nowhere online or in my paperwork did it say transfers cant be made from a pre-paid card. So i figured it wouldn't be a problem. They even brag about how easy it is to transfer funds from one account to another.
When my money wasn't being transferred i called to see what was going on. For one, i was on hold for forever, then i found out that they locked my account for no good reason. So they sent me an email with instructions on how to unlock my account.
The email read that i was going to need one of four things to fax over to them verifying my social security number. Well i didn't have any of those things. So when i called back to find another way to unlock my account they were extremely rude to me.
After waiting on hold for a good 10 minutes i was already frustrated. Then on top of that the person i was talking to was extremely rude and tried blaming me for the problem. She treated me like dirt. Talking to me like i was stupid and then refusing to help me unlock my account.
Thankfully i'm able to retrieve the money that i tried to transfer to my bluebird account, even though its going to take three business days. But i had absolutely no help from the people who almost lost my entire paycheck because of some stupid error that was their fault to begin with. I honestly hate them and i would never recommend this service to anybody.
