JC Whitney on line catalogue shows engine coolant thermostats with gaskets. The product description merely says OE thermostat. When the product arrives no gaskets are included. The thermostat cannot be installed without the necessary gasket. There is no warning the gasket must be ordered separately nor anyway to know what gasket will fit the thermostat. Complaints take a long time to get through on the phone and then are met with " the part description doesn't mention gasket" so its not included even though not one but two advertising photos show gaskets. One installed and the other loose. Customer servicer suggested I return the part for a refund would cost $8.95. This is absurd for a $12. Part. Not to mention the waste of time. Eventually they changed position & gave me a credit. Order from jc whitney at your own risk.
