I purchased the above products on the understanding that if I wasn't satisfied I should return them within 14 days for a full refund and my account would be cancelled. This is NOT the case. Despite returning the items after only six days and making THREE cancellation calls and sending SEVEN email's the company removed £37.50 on 21 December and then a further £75.00 a few days ago. I understand that many people have been scammed by this company and like me have had similar amounts removed from their bank accounts. However, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. What you need to do if you've been 'done' by these unscrupulous thieving people is. Please contact your bank and ask to speak to their 'disputes dept'. Explain your situation. They will have records of ANY payments that this company has taken from your account. They will 'cancel' the subscription that you inadvertantly entered into and then they will refund all monies taken. After that that will monitor your account closely so that when the company ask for another payment your bank will refuse it. You must do this quickly as SlimtonePlus will continue to take money from you jeopardising your future credit as inevitably your account will overdraw at some stage.
Also, the company is in Ireland and if you can afford the cost, telephone Shannon Town Hall and make a formal complaint to their Trading Standards dept.
Don't let them get away with this scam.
