I ordered a Nikon 12-24mm zoom lens listed for $789.00 on December 12. I call and asked why the price was so much less than everyone else. The person I spoke to said they were wholesalers but sold retail during the holiday as the reason the price was $200.00 cheaper than the lowest I found. Was told there was a big backlog in processing credit card orders which would delay the order to sometime in January, but a C.O.D. Order would be processed faster. I places the COD order and was suprised when I return home the next day and a UPS missed delivery note was on my door.
I got a cashier's check for 745.00 The next delivery day I took delivery without looking into the package. After opening the box it contained a Sigma 18-250mm wide angle zoom lens list price less than $500.00. I called the company and was told there was a mixup at the warehouse and they would send me a return lable to ship it back. I called a couple times and left message but no call back. It has been two weeks and no response or shipping lable. Not sure I would send the lens back if I did get a return lable because then I would be out my money and the lens they sent. At least the lens works with my camera. My lesson has been learned paying COD via the internet.
