I ordered a nikkor 18-200mm lens from (nikon af-s dx nikkor 18-200mm) ed vr ii, a uv filter, and a 3 year warranty for $560.00. The lens was stated to be new and would be shipped cod. I paid with a bank check made out to design nation 36 zero as requested and i was told it would arrive in a few days. The package arrived and when opened it contained a sigma 18-300mm lens vs the nikkor.
I immediately called boardwalk lens and stated the problem (12/24). They said it was a mistake at their warehouse at 75 middlesex turnpike, burlington, mass and that they had sent someone else my package and i got theirs. They also stated it would arrive in a day or two and include an empty shipping container to mail back the incorrect lens and a check for $20 for my inconvenience. Well, no check, no package and no shipping of the correct lens has occurred.
I tried to call them several additional times over several days and there is no answer, only a recording saying that all phones are busy. I also sent them feedback to their website stating the facts and that i would be filing a complaint to the proper authorities which i believe is the fbi since it is via the internet and therefore interstate commerce. I will be filing an official complaint with them and the authorities in mass also
