I paid Freedom Based Business $5000 on November 8 for services that would assist me in earning money online through, what I thought at the time was training and mentor-ship in internet marketing (promoting their products). I was under the impression that the initial investment would cover all my costs, but quickly found out by my mentor (that's what I thought he was but only spoke with him once when I first joined and then three other times only to discuss how I was going to come up with the extra money for a solo ad campaign) that I also had to fund a solo ad campaign that would cost anywhere from $2500 to $10000. I was shocked because there was no mention of spending more money for campaigns. I told Rob Rammuny, my "mentor" that I didn't have it in my account but would see what I could do because I was already out $5000. I managed to come up with $2000 and he said they could work with that and change the campaign to fit my budget. I have made no sales and haven't talked to him since then except through emails initiated by me. I was instructed, on their website for members, to promote their product daily for at least 90 minutes. When I spoke with Rob to ask if I could have a URL address to promote he said that was for later after we had our mentoring sessions to train me how to do it properly. I have never had any training whatsoever on promoting products and I started this program early November. I was told I would earn my money back within the first 30 days and have not earned one cent. All they have done is set up two review sites (I was never told anything initially about websites being part of the services) out of the three they said I would have. They are supposed to earn me commissions from Amazon as people are directed to them after reading the reviews from the sites. When I asked how much money I should earn on a monthly basis I was told around $200 to $300 a month. That is not worth $5000! I can set up a website myself for free and would never have paid for that to be done. I emailed Rob and told him I wanted a refund and the above reasons why and he emailed back that they have fulfilled their part. I of course disagreed wholeheartedly but now know that they have no intentions of refunding my money.
I disputed the charge of $5000 and $1997 with my bank who has opened an investigation.
