New Bands for a set of bent poles?

I need to replace a pair of bent poles from my used Skiers Edge. Upon contacting the company they said they would not replace $75 poles until I upgraded my power bands, at $165. I pondered the purchase, going from a $75 expense to nearly $250 was a to be difficult. I pulled the trigger after 3 weeks of deliberation. I was then informed that the power band price had increased to $190! I was outraged, to say the least but found no sympathy with the company.

I felt that a "bait and switch" tactic had been applied and was left with nothing. Again, I received no reply, from any of my inquiries or communications, from Skiers Edge.

Very disappointing!
