I moved here with my family from out of state 6 months ago. When we signed the lease agreement we were rushed through all paperwork, not allowed to read a thing and were "sweetly" lulled into a false sense of satisfaction and happy living in a clean well kept and safe community. We bought our mobile home and just lease the property from them which is outragiously priced and nothing included in that price, the lots are not maintained as far as their trees being trimmed so they do not damage my mobile home or segmented to show lines of property in which others should not trespass/allow pets to deficate and be left/children to play, etc... We pick up after our dogs, never take them out without a leash, do not allow them to harass others or be out without us yet we keep getting harrassed about them.
In addition to the false sense of security nothing was ever discussed about the rules and regulations of the mobile home park nor submitted to us in writing. Now almost 6 months later i am receiving citations on my porch (not in my mailbox or in my hand when i go in personally to pay my lot rent on time monthly), after office hours about the pet policies! When i finally blow a gasket over the ridiculousness of this and email the "mobile home lot manager" i get hand delivered an envelope stuffed full of crap i have never even seen on top of a copy of my lease agreement that has no date or manager signature, only signatures of myself and fiancee and their witness. Mind you the witness/front office secretary, is a tenant herself and is the most unprofessional person i have ever run into in my life, very rude, keeps her friends and family members in the office when and if she is ever in the office, ignores tenants that come in the office for business purposes so that she can sit and gossip with the yard workers or her friends/family in front of you and the list goes on.
The park manager is very rarely seen or contacted regardless of how hard you try! I had a family member that was interested in a home here, emailed the manager in Sept for more information on a home that was posted on the website and she didn't receive a response from the manager until Dec, 3 months, almost to the day, later! How professional is that? I have been able to catch her once before and it was brought to her attention at the time about unruly teens damaging our property, threatening to break in our home, causing fights, stealing and it was even reported to the so called police that are said to patrol the property yet you never see. We have yet to see any changes or differences in behavior or damages at all. There are known and reported drug dealers and drug deals going on just spaces away yet nothing has been done about it nor will it ever no matter the amount of complaints filed or children that witness them!
Needless to say we definitely regret moving into this place and are currently praying for something to open up somewhere else within our budget for us to be able to sell this and move out of this ridiculous place. PLEASE if you can hold out until you find something better then by all means do because this 'easy out' because you think it's cheap well it definitely lives up to its name CHEAP and trashy!!!
