Can't get their story straight

Placed an order with nomorerack.com on Nov. 3rd 2012. They did send a confirmation email stating the item had been shipped on Nov23rd.. After two weeks and no item and no updated information with the tracking number they provided me I contacted their customer service department. First I was told the item was on backorder. I asked the rep how my item was shipped if they were on backorder to which she actually gave the answer well mamm the item is coming from very very far away. Huh? So I requested being transfered to a manager. Was told no such person was there at that site. I then requested she cancel my order and refund my money. The rep then stated she could not refund my money until I returned the item. Okay how do I return an item I have never received? She then told me to contact the customer service dept via their email link on their website. I promptly did so and received my first email stating the vendor had been contacted and assured them that my item had been shipped out on Dec. 5th., of 2012. Ironically I then received another email stating the item would be shipped on Dec. 10th. I have also contacted their chat with a live customer service rep link and they repeated what my emails have stated, however they added the item was shipped without a tracking number. It is now the 17th. Of Dec and no item. Please help. At this point I would be happy just to get my money back. I would not recommend ordering from these people ever. They get your money and you get nothing but headaches.
