I was contacted by Andrew Palm at Banker REO saying they had BPO work for me.
He said there is a sign up fee for $349 and that he had immediate work.
He gave me 3 addresses, one of which was a property I was in contract on and was a short sale.
I told him I was the buyers agent and asked if that was an issue, he claims he checked with the bank and they indeed want it and me doing it was fine. He said I would be paid 30-45 days after I completed the work. When I asked about payment, he asks me to stop asking the same questions and that it could take up to 45 days. I let it go. After 60 days went by, I emailed him again and have gotten no response.
At sign up, he told me if I didnt get a listing in 6 months, then the $350 is refundable. As of now, Ive done 2 BPO's and have not been compensated. Now, their phone number is disconnected.
