The first call I got was from HelpPCOnline, claiming the had links with Microsoft and had found that my computer had a number of viruses. I paid £9.99 for the protection from HelpPCOnline, and then have today been rung by TechProSupport.co.uk claiming that the previous company was fraudulent, and that I needed to pay at least £150 for 6 years protection, to remove this software and the viruses that had been given by it. I had a suspicious feeling about them, so googled how legitimate they appeared and it came up with a few dodgy results. I decided to tell them I would do some research and ring them back. If anyone can tell me if these are legitimate companies or not, I would be very grateful. Thankyou.
