I bought a Tri Tek electrical shaver seen on a TV ad. They shared all my information, including my credit card number with WellQuestintl who, in turn, sent me in the mail a calling card which I NEVER REQUESTED. Like with all junk mail, I tore it off and trashed it, not even knowing who was sending it.
After a few months I noticed a rather sizable charge on my credit card statement for something unfamiliar. I called the credit card company who gave me WellQuestintl/WQ long distance's telephone number.
At my request, their customer service department canceled any future orders of such calling card, but told me that to get a refund I'd have to wait for them to do a "QC investigation" to determine if I indeed hadn't authorized those charges.
After a couple of weeks, I called them back to check on the status of the so called "investigation" and they said I was entitled to the refund and that should have it back in my account in two to three months!
After two months I called them again and the floor supervisor told me the refund hadn't even been processed but that he'd email their processing center right away and I should have my money back in about a week. Three weeks later and my money is not back in my account... So I called again. This time the same supervisor told me I should get my money IN THE MAIL in about two months!
I find it ridiculous and dishonest that such company would take my money WITH OUT MY APPROVAL and that they keep giving me the run around to refund me! I work hard for my money and don't want these infamous activities to take place and harm other people!
