Went in to buy a flush mount fluorescent light - light not in stock. When we asked the lighting department guy, he was very indifferent, vague, and a little rude. Absolutely no help... He just said "the light is current" over and over. He finally explained in as few words as possible that it is a current stock that will be re-ordered. Didn't give any info on how or when it would come in, etc. We then went to the front customer service desk to ask, and the lady was just about as much help as he was, and then referred us to the sales manager. We finally got an answer from him... It would be 10-14 days. Got home and looked online and found I could get it in within 6 days max for free.

Terrible customer service. Not surprised. Not the first time. Home Depot used to treat you like the ugly step sister, but they are now waiting by the door itching to help. Lowe's has taken on Home Depot's old reputation/practices. Will no longer be going into Lowe's. At least give a little effort!
