Moronic way they set up waiting line - I was buying one box of over counter sud-fed

I was third in line, at this time there was no one behind me. I was already waiting going on fifteen minutes and then it was my turn, now in the meantime there was already about four people in line off to my right, when I got to the desk the girl said I would have to let these other people go first because they were in the fast pay line. My question is what moron came up with this idea. Is that good bussiness to piss off one customer to please another. I then told the girl forget it I will just go to Target. I will never go to a Walmart pharmacy again.
