Today I used the Wal-Mart Pharmacy in Temple, Texas. I was appalled at the hippa violations and lack of professionalism by one of the members. She was a young dark haired girl, either mixed or hispanic. She was laughing while filling my prescription, blurted out the dosage needed (30mg) as well as the two the three times a day. Even worse, she was not even talking to me, just talking out loud to I'm assuming another staff member. She furthered with an "Eeeew" and "Gross." And my last name and first name were both mentioned loudly as I stood there with a line of people behind me. Very uncalled for, I was right there. I was humiliated and embarrassed and felt extremely disrespected. I strongly advice Wal-Mart to review rules and policies, along with common sense and proper etiquettes with its pharmacy staff. Needless to say, I will not be back.
