I was also scammed with the same excuses and results. I have been trying to get something done here with this so called "practice" and all I have gotten was ripped off. My initial payment of $750 was paid on Oct 9th and I have yet to get a call back with anything other than when my next payment is going to be paid. After 60 days of baloney I now realized I was scammed I refused to pay further towards my next $750 retainer fee. I get emails from an Edward Maddison stating he will call me soon with his State bar Number and I asked for an address so that I can meet up with him to verify this practice and I have got nothing so far. First he was sick three weeks ago and now he is sick again. Even if you look at the responses here by this Nicole Smith person you will see the numerous reasons and excuses as to why everyone of us were not handled properly. It seems to me people who are in need of help and pay reasonable fees for that help will do what is required of them by this so called law group. I know if I was scheduled a meeting I would make it there whether it was in Santa Clarita or Santa Barbara. I know That I wait everyday for my calls and they never come as promissed. I call and talk to this Kenneth guy every three or four days and he cant seem to answer my questions at all and has to get this Mark Price guy to try to dance around my questions by asking me for more money. They sent me some bogus forms with the names all missspelled and obvious mistakes, then they state that they are revising the data sheet and it will definately be in by next week. I am so frustrated at this point I guess its time to put in my report to all authorities that I can. My mother helped me with the first $750 and then I was to pay the next in installments but they never started a thing. I seen in other complaints that a mother was refunded but that was right around the time I was asking for a refund that to this date has not arrived. They asked me to fax a copy of my credit card and drivers license so now I expect to see some kind of ID theft and fraudulent charges coming as well. These people need to be stopped.
