I also received a $24.82 charge on my debit card, after signing up for a free sample of Purely White and DazzleSmile teeth whitening products. When I did this online, there was no documentation as to "joining a membership" for this company or any others related to it, only a free sample for $1.95 each.
I contacted the company today and after being on hold for about 10 minutes, I spoke to a rep who was short and rude until I explained that I wasn't mad at her, but I wanted her to know that I was the victim and she was working for a fraudulent company, and that our Country is in the state it's in because of crooks like this. I also found out that I was being charged for an online weight loss membership???
She did give me a cancellation number, but said the money would not be refunded because I "agreed" to it. After contacting the company and receiving this information, I can now file a dispute with my bank. Lesson learned??? Don't buy anything online unless you know it's an valid established business, or at least Google them before you do it.
