There was a popup ad on the local news station website. The ad featured Oprah and offered a free trail offer of AcaiBerry-all you had to do was pay $4.95 shipping. When I filled out the order form - giving my credit card number and 3-digit authorization code on the back of the card - I then submited the order. It then prompted me that the credit card didn't go through and to try again. I tried again and the same thing happened. I tried again (like an idiot) and the same thing happened again, so I decided that they really didn't want me to purchase their product (ha!). When I checked my online bank account the next day, I discovered that they had charged my account $44.85 three times! I have filed a dispute with my bank and the decision to not pay these charges will be decided in the next 10 business days.
