Never buy a Micro-Tek computer. The quality is substandard.
The company doesn't stand behing its product.
When I called after repeated problems, I was told you buy cheaper you get what you pay for and We use foreign parts that don't always work right. Hey is that building up the product or what.
I took it in to them several times and they could never find anything wrong with it. Of course the last time the year warranty was about up, sure enough there wasnt anything wrong with it, thats strange since it didn't work good enough to use.
However darn the bad luck it was hit by lightning, guess what?
The hard drive suddenly had problems, not lightning associated when they thought insurance was going to cover getting a new one and they would get the job to build a new one.
And thats another gripe, it took them 4 months to cough up a report and swore they had never had the computer there, but low and behold I had a report signed by one of their techs.
Yeah I know I should have taken it elsewhere.
