Unresolved Improper Suspension: Re: #6447844

I am appealing the Zendesk decision for the following reasons:

From my understanding of the rules, I have never sent "large numbers of duplicate replies or mentions. As a matter of fact, I don't believe that I have ever sent a duplicate reply or mention. However, the day before my account was suspended, I used @nytimes 10 or less times in the body of several messages, ALL DIFFERENT, that referred to an article the New York Times published.

Another mention rule forbids "large numbers of unsolicited @ replies or mentions in an attempt to spam a service or link. I don't believe that 10 or less tweets qualifies as a "large number, " and I don't believe that, by any stretch of the imagination, anything I've done could be considered "an attempt to spam." Hence I don't believe that my behavior qualifies as a violation of any of the @reply/mention rules.

You describe my behavior as posting messages to "a bunch" of users in an "unsolicited, " and "egregious" manner. Is 10 or less tweets "a bunch" because the only party that was mentioned in several tweets, was the New York Times, and the communications were a straight forward challenge of the contents of an article, hardly egregious.

Finally, I would like my record cleared of the suspension, as I don't believe that I broke any rules. If you disagree, please advise me of the date, or dates, I sent too many unsolicited messages, and the number of unsolicited messages sent on those dates, and who the messages were sent to.

Is it possible that there has been some unauthorized use of my account?
