Friendster.com looked like a legit website for playing games, so I signed up to play my favorite war game, Edgeworld last week.
But just 2 days later and after I had spent $250 to purchase items for Edgeworld, Friendster shut down EW completely, leaving me unable to log into my account and play.
Their official statement said the game is down temporary for maintenance.
Day after day went by without any further updates... Several inquiries to their customer support remain unanswered.
In the meantime their message boards are filling up with complaints from other players.
By now 5 days have passed and the message is unchanged, still no response from their customer service or any new info whatsoever.
This behavior toward paying customers is unacceptable and I demand a full refund.
Anyone who is considering using this site... Beware!!
