I checked my bank account today after carefully monitoring it for a month. I felt that something fishy was going on with it and now I have proven myself correct. I had been monitoring for a month, being very careful to write down every purchase right down to the last cent. So Today is Christmas eve, and what did the bank do? Why they helped themselves to a christmas bonus in the shape of NSF fees from my account, when there was sufficient charges to cover every transaction on my account.
I called the 800 number and spoke to a representative, and to no avail, they have decided to keep the money. They say that it's not a bank error, but my error and that I have to pay for it. They did this to me before back in June but I couldn't figure out what happened. Now I'm certain that I know what's going on.
The lady I spoke with at the financial institution ADMITTED that the charges were for nothing. That they were charged for no reason, but that I couldn't get them back. I have called the 800 number 6 times, and each person tells me something different. But none of them will allow me to have my nsf fees back. Even though I'm being charged for imaginary insufficient transactions.
So now my account is 186.42 in the negative, where they charged one nsf fee for no reason, and before any other transactions could post, (small ones) they took me in the negative so badly that now they have destroyed my holiday.
